Game #3
NEW YORK -- Message boards have been humming about late-inning rallies and poor relief pitching. This rang too true for the Yankees in this rubber game. The White Sox tied the game with 6 runs in the T6 with Eric Soderholm's (2) 3-run blast capping the explosion. Orta's (1) 2-run shot in the 7th provided the margin of victory. Johnson (2-0) earned his second win of the series in relief. Lagrow (5) again earned the save. Roy White (4) led the Yanks with 3 hits, including a 2-run HR.
